Installation

• Installed by default on many distributions

• Used to manage log files of all installed packages, including rsyslog, default syslog log processor

Configuration

• /etc/logrotate.conf: default config

• /etc/logrotate.d/: folder ofr configuration of different packages

Commands

• logrotate --version
